Ship of Screams Part 1

Ship of Screams is a haunted house type dark ride with a trackless system. Set in an cruise liner,  where guests encounter the lost souls who perished at sea on the S.S. Leviathan. 

The S.S. Leviathan stands dominant in the port, emerged from it's watery grave for over 80, 90 or 100 years. Barnacles and rust seems to cover the ship. Guests will ascend to an escalator where they will enter the ship. They walk through a short hallway where a cast-member dressed in old fashioned navy clothes that will escort them into the pre show.

The pre show room is an octagonal shaped with the portrait of a sea captain of the ship. The room and portrait goes under a strange metamorphosis. Thunder clouds start to form and the waves thrash violently, while the wallpaper starts to peel, so too dose the portrait of the Captain changes into a ghastly version of his former self. Lighten from the windows flash, the room the is engulfed in darkness but returns back to normal. Expect for the portrait.    

Guests will emerge from the pre show and into the grand staircase, once full of splendor now in neglect and despair. Here guests will board life boat rafts that will take them into two separate sections of the ride that will take them to the upper  and lower decks of the ship 

Upper Decks 

Entering the flooded 1st class hallway, it is lined with closed doors and portraits. Door knobs and handles twist, shake, and bang by unseen hands; as if someone or something is trying to get out. 

Paintings and antique photographs morph into macabre images of ghouls and monsters. 

Near the end of the hallway, a ghostly figure can be seen hovering over a large body of water and vanishes before our eyes. 

Inside one of the bedroom, four poster canopy bed shakes and moves by itself by a shadowy figure jumping by the lamp light as a child's laughter can be heard. 

The ships lounge is full of ghosts socializing with one another. A group of ghostly women are sharing a cup of tea, while a spectral musician can be seen playing on the grand piano.  

Transparent dancer waltz and float on the ballroom dance floor as band plays a rather macabre melody, so to does the raft spins as it seems to join the party.
