MT Olympus

The Mythic Journey is a flume ride, in wich guests take a fantiastic voyage into a alternet world where the gods and creatures of Greek legend are real.
The queue line of the attraction is themed to that of a series of columns and pillars, in which guests wind their way through just before entering the ride. A refreshing misty spray will give a guests a relif from the heat. While waiting, guests will interact with living stautes of the gods and learn about the many creatures they will enounter on their journey.

Guests will board their form a transportation, which are themed to Mediterranean style boats.

Guests will asscend into a small hill that will take them into a woodland glades inhabited by naiads, satyrs, cenaturs, dryads and fauns. A satyr can be seen playing the Pan pipes where a troup of nymphs dance in a circle. The god Dionysus seems to be enjoying the festivities.

Standing on the edge of cliff, a centaur blows his hunting horn.

To our right, we see the legendary winged horse Pegasus, grazing peafuly near a medow.

Come up to a tree, a Phoenix materializes out of the ashes and fades in the flames.

We through a group of mermaids sunbathing on the rocks near a lagoon. They sing and beckon to us, which causes us to decend into the depths of an underwater realm.

We find ourselves benith the sea, where the fishes glind over our heads. In the distance we can see the ruins of the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Meraids and mermen can be seen ridding on the back of sea horses. A sea serpant ermerges out of a cave and breths smoke from it's nostrils.

As our boat advances to the throne room, we come face to face with Poseidon and all his glory. He dosn't seem happy to have humans in his domain. "Halt trespaers, you have to far. Begone!" With that, our boat is swept from a curnet that Posidon has congured up and our boat fall backwards.

It appears that we've enterned The River Styx in the Underworld, where bats fly overhead of us and eyes peer out of the dark. The ferryman becons us to, but we decided not to. Cerberus, the gaurd dog grows and bites at us.

The lost of souls of the departed wail and moan in the Feilds of Asphodel.

A flock of harpies swooping down on us.

We then come across a sleeping dragon resting beneth a tree with The Gold Fleece. However, the dragon awkens with an angry roar and breaths fire at our boad. Fire suronds around the water, there seems to be no way out. Lucky, Hermes messenger of the gods leads us to the exit as out boat ascends.

Our journey is nearly over, as we ascend up into the heaves and to Olympus home of the gods. The god Helios and Diana drive their chariots bringing day and night.  The nine muses welcome us with songs and ballads.

We've arrived to our destination in the halls of Olympus. The gods and goddesses sit twelves thrones, twords the end is the king of the Zues. "Welcome mortals to Olympus, we do hope you enjoyed your vist here. Do drop by anytime."

As we reach the sumit, our boat sends us down into a 50 foot plunge into the water. Our adventure is finally come to an end, as our boat glide through the ruins of a once magnificent temple. We wounder to ourselves, was it a dream or did we really happen? Our boat reaches the unloding dock as we disembark to the next adeventure.
