The Beastly Kingdom at Disney's Animal Kingdom

The Beastly Kingdom is the long rumored land to appear at Animal Kingdom that will showcase mythical creatures. It has been one thing left out of Animal Kingdom that has left many people unhappy. Here is my vision of The Beastly Kingdom. There will be a number of mythical animals for the park that are contained within much different ethnic folklore. All of these attractions will be placed in the Beastly Kingdom land that is to come, which will be placed over Camp Minnie Mickey.

The Enchanted Forest
A kiddy play area teamed to an mythical forest inhabited by the fairy folk.

Quest for the Unicorn
A traditional dark ride. In which guests must navigate through an enchanted forest home to mythical creatures, both good and evil, to find the last unicorn.

Castle Darken

Castle Darken will be an combination of a haunted house ride and an indoor/outdoor roller coaster. Home to a tyrant, who has been transformed into a fire breathing dragon, and the ghosts of his royal court.

The Labyrinth
An interactive walkthrough maze attraction, in which guests play a part of the story.

Dragon's Lair

Here guests will interact with a intelligent but grumpy dragon, who has awaken for a century year old sleep.

  1. It's probably not true, but I read a rumor Disney is making their 5th park right next to Animal Kingdom. It will be called Disney's Beastly Kingdom (possibly Dominion). The lands would consist of a central Dragon section (Discovery Island), an Egypt section (Africa), Australia (Asia), a Stars Wars snow planet (Dinoland) and Fantasia (Pandora).
