Here are some of the new attractions and locations for Islands of Adventure
Universal Monster Island
This new section will be a tribute and dedication to the classic universal monsters. Three of the main attractions will be Universal's House of Horrors, a walkthrough haunted maze similar to one in Hollywood. The other attraction will be a 3D interactive experience with a revolving platform, which gusts will battle monsters. The vampire bat is an indoor/outdoor roller coaster. The Horror in Wax will be a tribute to the famous monsters and actors of old horror movies.
The Land of Oz
The Land of Oz will be dedicated to both the book series and film. This section will replace Susse Landing. The atmosphere will be combination to Munchkin village and the Emerald City with retail & dining facilities. Guests will encounter the characters (The Scare Crow, The Tin Woodsman, Glinda the Good, Jack Pumpkin Head, Ozma and citizens from the Emerald City.The Journey of Oz is an attraction on which it is based on the book series. The ride through will be much similar to Peter Pan's Flight at Fantasy Land. The ride begging in Kansas which transports guest to The Land of Oz, with lots of AAs and detailed sets depicting the stories and places from Oz.. The enchanted carousel of Oz would feature a variety of mythical creatures to ride on.There would also be a kiddie-area on the scale of A Bug’s Land and themed to Munchkin Land.
