Insidious: Further into Darkness

Que: Just before guests enter the house, they will be greeted by Tuck and Spects. They will each give guests a lantern that will be their only score of light as they make their through The Further.

Facade: As you walk into Soundstage 22, fog rolls across the ground. A stately looking house sits in front of you, the windows dark. Strangely, there is nothing else but the house; no car in the driveway, no houses next door, no stars in the sky. You have entreated The Further, a  parallel spirit world of endless darkness and fog.

Living Room: To the left, an unusual scene unfolds. You see the father reading the newspaper, and his daughter sitting on the couch, and the mother doing her ironing. They are all standing perfectly still, not moving a muscle. Suddenly three loud gunshots ring out, as the "evil twin" comes appears out of nowhere with a rifle pointed at you.

Hallway 1: You enter the hallway leading to the various bedrooms. Portraits and photographs lien on both sides of the hall. If you look closely, you can see photos of a young Josh Lamburt with the shadowy figure standing next to him. In a corner, you see a young woman  leaning against the wall, crying. At the end of the hall, is a woman in a white night gown. She seems to beckon you and vanishes, only to appear right in front of you and threatens to strike you.

Bedroom: In the young child's bedroom, Dalton Lamburt continues to be in comma like trance. A shadowing figure can be seen within the walls. A young woman with long bursts out the closet bursts. She pleads for help, but is then pulled back by an unseen force.

Attic: The attic is dark filled with crates and antiques. A mysterious red door sits at the end of the room, hanging open. Various entities which include a little boy in ragged Edwardian clothes, an elderly woman in a bridal dress, and a man with long hair and a trench coat will pop out from various dark places.

Red hallway: We enter what looks like a near-replica of the hallway you entered previously is painted all red, lit by red-tinted light from candelabras lining the wall.

Workshop: The song "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" can be heard playing from a scratchy record player in The Demon's workshop. Mannequins, marionettes, and dolls line the walls. A grinding wheel sits in the center and a record player is in the corner. Toward the exit, a demonic creature with red painted face, sharpened claws, cloven hooves and a barbed tail lunges from the shadows, screeching at you.

Dark Hallway: Voices and unearthly sounds can be heard within the void. A carved wooden portrait of an elderly lady hangs at the end of the hall before you turns left. She watches your every move and blows out her candle, disappearing with a sinister laugh.

Hospital Wing: We now find ourselves in an old abandoned hospital room all decaying with age and neglect. An elderly man lies in his bed with his heart monitor beeping, in every second he will then awake and lung at us.

Nursery: Inside the nursery, children’s playthings, forgotten and dusty, rest among cobwebs – until they come to life, rocked by unseen hands. The figure of a young girl sits on a bed whispering "You can't be in here. If she sees you, she'll make me kill you." A shadowy figure of man can be seen passing back and forth, then manifest right in front of you.

The Secret Room: Inside an abandoned dining room, the stench of rotting flesh fills the air. As shrouded corpses of young women are seated on both sides of the wall. A mannequin in black victorian dress stands on the right. Some of them will come to life to scare the guests.

Finale: Just before exiting the house, various spirits and demons you had seen previously block your path, as you atempt to escape this realm of the dead.

Terror Tram: Ghost Tour

After boarding the tram, the guide will be introduced by a member of the Legendary Truth Collective have been investigating a series mysterious murders that occurred in the Toluca Lake area, which is conveniently adjacent to the back lot. Strangely enough the sightings have been reportedly related to Urban Legends. The guide also mentions that they are filming the investigation as well, then the transmission cuts to a "found footage" documenting the the film crew's investigation, which eventually depicts them being ruthlessly assulteb by a group of unknown assailants, presumably the same ones responsible for the murders. The tram suddenly stops in the middle of the road and all the lights go out. A message appears on the transmission screen, cryptically stating "Don't Look Back." When we do, we see the corpses of the film crew strung up on the trees (the transmission screens will also show this ghastly discovery). The Tram starts working again and the guide is instructed by his/her manager to evacuate the people on the tram as soon as possible. We are then dropped off at Whoville only to find out that the spirits have transformed the entire back lot into an inescapable nightmare where urban legends become real.

Littlie Europe

The quaint Eupoen hamlet that once shot classic horror movies, now as becomome infested with the souls of victims in the Black Plague. They are all dressed in Medieval era peasant clothing, sort of like zombies. Plauge doctors operate on a not so dead patient, while the rat catcher pushes a coffin with live rats feeding on a young woman. A cart filled with dead bodies springs to life and lunges at the guests.

Ghost Town
Guests will get dropped off at Six Point Texas area. Some triggers are used so that every 20 seconds a gunshot goes off scaring people.

They pop up from behind the bus in the way they were murdered, they are covered in blood, pop in and out yelling "Trick or Treat" "Smell my feet" ect scareing you as you go by. Sam will make his cameo.

The Hook-handed Maniac will continue to stalk the guests as he reappears in random places in the around the forest.

They will pass through a large tree with stick figures hanging on the branches. Without warning, the spirit of the Blair Witch will  pop out from behind the tree.

Blood Mary (a mini Hall of Mirrors, located in the sheet maze area)
Guest will come face-to-face with Bloody Mary as they navigate through the maze. The name 'Bloody Mary' is written on the mirrors with blood. Guest will also hear children eerily chanting "Bloody Mary."

All characters from the previous areas reappear for one last time.

Earthquake

After being picked up by the tram guide, the guest almost leave the backlot in one piece. A Legendary Truth member will contact the guests that you are entering one of the most dangerous sets, where the it's rumored to be haunted by angery spirits. You hear cries of the dead as the floor starts to shake. The Legendary Truth member will tell guests that the ghosts are angery and caused the tram to shake. The lights start to flicker on and off, as  disembodied vocies taunt you and wind effects pick up to make you think and feel that the ghosts are flying around you. An subway crashes into our car, and finale the carnage ceases.
But don't get to comftorable, the guide just picked up some supernatural activity within the tram. That some wayward spirits have infiltrated the tram. The moniter will show evidence that we didn't make out alive and condemed to wander the Earth among the living.

My Personal Houses and Scare Zones Part 2

2013
I've waited for La Llorona to make her deabut in Orlando. Showing the many stages of her from a ghostly young woman, to a decaying corpse. The effect of the spirit of La Lllorona disolving into water was amazing.  This might be the first series of Urban Legends.

When I heard rumors and anouncments on An American Werewolf in London was going to be a maze for last years Horror Nights. I though to my slef,"There is no way in Hell they're going to a maze with men in wolf suits." But after expericning this maze, I though they did a fabulous job on the sets from begining to end and the puppet effects for the werewolf.

This is not only one of my favorite house, but my favorite film. Poking fun at the cliches you see everwhere. It's sort of like a behind the scenes of horror movies. After seeing the movie, I've always wanted to be a house of HHN. I though they did an exllent job of showing scenes from the movie.

2014
If dolls creep you out, then this is the house of your nightmares. Totally messed up, sick and disterbing. Every room is themed to a certin type of dolls from teddy bears, rag dolls and puppets. Doll parts can be seen inside the walls. It had a great backstory to it, a twisted little girl converting a mortuary into her own little play house. You'll see her in operating room.

An intresting take on The Lost Colony legend, where the settlers were converted into cannibalism and possesed by the wendigo spirit. In the future, they should do some historical horrors like Jack the Ripper, The Black Death, The Salme Witch Trails, and many others.

Seeing a few episodes of the movie turned TV series on Netflix. I though they did a good job at depecting the vampires as blood thirsty imortal demons, not emotional teen hartthrobs with glitter. Although the house was kinda short, the scenes were very well done on both the Twister bar and the Aztec temple.

This is one my Dad's favorite house by far. They did a great job on depicting the scenes of the movie from beging to end. It also had the finale scare after leaving the house, you can't kill the boogieman.

This is the years best scare zones, I'v always wanted to have a voodoo themed house/scare zone. They did a good job seting this area themed to an bayous of the south and decpting characters like the Voodoo Queen, her minons, and the spirits or loa.

I've seen some epidoes of the show, and this I though tha  the creations beign broght to life here at Horror Nights was a fantastic street expericne.

Both the makeup and cosumes for the scaractors and stiltwalk scares were both elgant and macabre.
