At night, guests who are brave enough will take a frightful tour of an abandon castle infested with wraiths, gargoyles, banshees, and restless souls of the dead that lurk with in it's crumbing ruins.

The Ancient Mediterranean area of the park will be themed to the myths of Greece and Egypt.
Guests will navatate their way through the labyrinth and come face to face with the Minotaur.

Japan's folklore of weird spirit entities and ventictive ghosts that haunt the forests and mountians Japan would be an excellent haunt for the Asisa area.

Walking through the cobled streets of Victorian London. Here guests will encounter characters of gothic fiction, such as Frakenstien's Monster, Count Dracula, Sweeney Todd, Dr Jekyll or Mr Hyde.
The main attraction will be a traditional walkthrough haunted house. Once inside, guests will brave through the darken hallways and decaying rooms while resless dead souls beckon you to uncover it's dark secerts. Boasting with special effects old and new.

HHN: Islands of Fear Reboot

I remeber seeing a benind the scenes special on the Travel Channel on Halloween Horror Nights Islands of Adventure. Each island's area has been converted into a twisted versions of themselves. It's been 13 years since Horror Nights is now hosting their halloween events at the Studios. Here are some idea's I've came up with for Islands of Fear.

Beging with the Port of Entery, now called The Port of Lost Souls. Here the souls who have drowned at sea warn guests of the dangers that lie ahead. While half human/half fish sea creatures prowl the streets, as the sirnes beckon the uspected park patrons to the behyond.

Marvel Superhero Island has been converted into a cyberpunk distopian wasteland. Cyborgs, survivors,  and alien entities scavenge through the street of what was once a metropolis of jusice.

Jurassic Park has become infested with half human/half beast enitites prowl the jungles at night, in seach form human blood.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter's Hogsmead is set in an old timey horror movie. Villagers fight for their lives as they battle aginst the creatures of the night and intruders.

The Lost Continent's theme will be a perfect place for mythical monsters, demons and ancient gods of old to roam the ruins of a fallen empire as the wrek havon the modern world.

Howl o Scream 2015 Dream Event

Here are my ideas and thoughts for Howl o Scream 2015 for Williamsburg.

Houses

Replacing Bitten in Germany, this traditional haunted manor house will have old fashioned illusions and state of the art computer special effects for ghostly effects for the scareactors.
Set in Italy in Williamsburg. The storyline of the haunt is when a group of archeologists unwitingly unleash ancient gods, demons, and spirits of Egyptian mythology.

Replacing Catacombs, guests will walkthough the displays of madmen and mosters of old which will come to life, and discover the terrifying secert behind in this Parisian wax museum.

Set in New France, here guests will take part in this twisted man hunt as their prey.

Scare Zones
The main centerpiece for the park, in which guests will experince when they come to the park.

Set in Scotland, guests will come face to fangs with a marauding pack of werewolves haunting the  moors of Scottland.
This scare zone will be taking place in Ierland, where the Banshees bring death and dispare to those who here their cries of doom.

Taking place in an alternet version of Germany where it is overuned by clockwork cyborgs and automatons.

My Ideas for Halloween Horror Nights 25

When news and rumors for next years Halloween Horror Nights was going bring an old icon back.
I've got my thoughts and ideas for Horror Nights 25.
Hope you enjoy these.

The houses will be based on not only film, TV shows, or video games, but also on books. First off would be the works of Howard Phillps Lovecraft. Creator of tales of ancient, monsterous entities of cosmic terrors primordial fears that await to wreak havoc on our world. Another house based on both film and book would be Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House. Where invsible spirits have taken over the furnishings, as a malignat force hides within the halls and room of  this gothic Victorian manor house.

Another house I've came up would be an atcual maze, which the park patrons must use their wits to find their way out.

Universal is where movies come to life, so why not pay homage to the one that stated it's legacy of horror The Phantom of the Opera. Which guests will journey into the Paris Opera House and into the catacombs where the masked feind dwells. They will also pay tributie to the campy sci-fi/horror B movies from the 50's and 60's. From radio active mutations, to gigantic alien beings, this house has a unique blend of horror and comdey. The new film Crimson Peak will be coming this October, I think this might be a perfect house for 2015 with it's gothic atmosphere and intriguing story.

The Walking Dead may return this year, but I think it needs to be replaced by another  TV Horror show like Grimm or Penny Dreadful.

Moving aside from the fictional horrors, guests will also face horrors from the real world. Finding them selves in the wrong side of town, they will encounter thugs, vagabonds and a prostitute or two.

The Street Expericnes would have a themed areas based on diffrent cultures. The first scare zone would be based on the cultureal veiws of the Afterlife. From the Greek Underworld, the leves of Hell from Dante's Inferno, to Japanese Land of the Dead. Where demons. damned souls, and its rulers beckon guests to the abyss.

The next scare zone would take place in the new London area. Here guests will encounter the spirits of London's dark history, from the black death, Henry the 8th's wives, to Jack the Ripper.

The Aswangs and Kapre of Filipino folklore would be a great addition to the wooded area of the park.  The San Fransico area will be infested with half human/half fish sea creatures.

2014 Trip Review

The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes at the COSI
I rember going to the COSI when I was at a middle shcool trip. The exibihits were fun and interactive, I did enjoy the treasure hunt adventure. Coming back here brings a lot of good memories.
The Sherlock Exibit was really fasinating. The setting was ripped right out the novels, and had to use our brians to solves the mystery.

Kentucky Kingdom
When I heard about Kentucky Kingdom reopened, I was kinda of overwhlmed by the fact that it's been year sienc it closed. When coming back to Kentucky Kingdom, I was'nt impressed when they took down the Looney Toons play area. On the otherhand, we did enjoy the rides such as Thunder Run and Twisted Sitster.
We even did spend most of the time at Hurricane Bay.

Banshee at Kings Island

The new Banshee roller coaster was the first attractions we've riden at Kings Island, and belive me it was fastes, excelerating and badass roller coster I've riden in all my life. They had great themed que line.

The Highland Renisance Fair
It was Steampunk Weekend at the Kentucky Highland Reniscance Fair. Dad and I dressed up for the event. I was in a top hat with goggles and kilt. It was quite a surpirise for me when they asked me to play the part of The Drunken Scottsman. Over all the costumes were great and the shows were funny.

The King's Court

Court Jester

Minstrels

Those who are not familair with steampunk, here are some pictures I've took.

The Smithsionian Museumes
The Newseum was the first and newst musume we went to during our trip to Washington. They had a priting press, an exibit on Anchorman, a replicas of the Berlin Wall and antina from the Twin Towers.

Printing Press

Action News Chopper

Ancherman

Busch  Gardens
I enjoy going to Busch Gardens than Epcot's World Showcase. Because of the attmosphic landscaping, the themed areas, the attractions and of couse the food. I did mangae to ride all five of the roller coasters including the new Verbolton. Too bad Dad was having neck problems, he was missing the fun.
Joly Old England

Diagon Alley
The attmosphere and enviroment to the new additions were enchanting. A perfect way to combine the light of Digon Alley and the darkness of Noxturn Alley. They were straigh out of the movies and books. The ride was excelerating and intense. The food at the Leaky Cauldron was great.

Halloween Horror Nights 24
As mentioned brfore in my pervious post on the best Horror Nights events. I really was anticipated and had expectations on what was I to suscpect and uspect for this years Horror Nights 24th anniversary.
Halloween
We've only to five of the haunted houses they provided. My personaly favorites were Halloween, Dollhouse of the Damned and Roanoke Canibal Conley.

Dollhouse of the Damned

Roanoke: Canibal Conley

I was glad they had there themed scare zones back. The last two previous years were a bunch of hit and misses. My favories were Face Off, Mask-arid, and Bayou of Blood.

The Voodoo Queen

Mrs Pumkin Head

The Siren

Old Town Legends: A Haunting
Unlike Universal's Horror Nights and Busch Gardens Howl o Scream. This haunted attraction is open year round. The attraction did remind my a bit of Ripplie's Haunted Attraction. The sets were straight out of a movie and the effects were amazing.

Black Widows

Mr Ashton

The Dickens Christmas Festival
During the Christmas sesons, The Kentucky Highland Rensacie Fair become the Dickenas Christmas Festival. They would act out scences from the classic Holiday novel in order. I loved the costumes and food they provied.

Marley's Ghost

The Ghost of Christmas Past
The Ghost of Christmas Present
