Howl o Scream XX Trip Review

Yet another trip review for the Halloween season at Busch Gardens Howl o Scream with my family. But first let me tell you some of the new attractions.

Battle for Eire is a Virtual Reality attraction in which guests place VR headsets in order to experience the ride. The story of the attraction is very simplistic and the graphics were pretty top notch.

Invadar is a traditional wooden roller coaster with the them of Vikings against the trappers of New France.

And now for the mazes and scare zones for Howl o Scream
Vault XX is the anniversary house that pays tribute to all the past houses and scare zones of the past events. The sets were very elaborate and detailed and there were some icons that guests can recognize.

Demented Dimensions is very similar to it's sister park in Tampa Florida, but with a small budget and some new rooms added in.

Frostbite was set in the formal attraction Curse of Darkastle, the sets were elaborate but the scares were lacking.

Circo Sinstro was the last maze we attained. Being an outdoor maze, it was a lot more affective in the night time with it's gothic style and subtlety.

Vampire Point was placed once agin in the German section of the park, however the scare-actors were not dressed identically, the vampires ranged from elegant to feral.

Axe Alley was in the theme of Vikings after the opening of Invader.

Fools Court was set in France to the theme of jesters and harlequins wreaking havoc in the streets of Paris.

Side Show Square was in Italy with the them of an old world style carnival with clowns and carnies with it's colorful atmosphere.

The Garden of Souls was themed to Day of the Dead with skeletons, decorated graves and glow in the mark make up.

Ripper Row was still in England, with the them of Jack the Ripper which fits perfect for this area.

Halloween Horror Nights 28 Trip Review

Sorry for the delay everyone, I had to replace my old macbook with a new one. So here is my are thoughts and opinions on Halloween Horror Nights 28.

Houses

Dead Exposure; Patiant Zero: The house was very affective with flashing strobe lights and illusions that mixes fake zombies and real ones come up close to us.
3/5

Slaughterhouse Cinema: This house was quirky in it's way depicting schlocky B horror/sci fic movies from the 70s and 80s that balances both the humor and horror at the same time.
4/5

Trick r Treat: I have waited for my life to have this movie into a house, the sets were straight out the movie with different scenes from each story from Old Man Craig's house to the rock quarry.
5/5

Carnival Graveyard: This house had a grungy feel to it, the scare-actors range from carnie folks to mechanics. If you have a keen eye, you'll find some props and set pieces that were used in past events.
4/5

Poltergeists: The house's scenes range from rooms that replicate scenes from the actual movie, from the climax, the face peeling, and the confrontation of The Beast. Some of them were surreal and creativity portrayed as we entered into the Other side. Many of the scares of the Beast were done with both puppetry and stilt walkers.
4/5

Stranger Things: The house had a long wait to but it was worth it. The rooms were truly detiailted depicting certain scenes from the show; from the Byers house, Hawkins Lab and the Upside-Upsidedown. The demigorgons were either live scare-actors to animatronics.
5/5

Scary Tales; Deadly Ever: This was probably on of the best installment to the scary tales franchise. The sets were detailed and the flying witch was amazing; from stories like Hansel and Gretel, The Three Little Pigs, Rapunzel, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and The Little Mermaid, all twisted into horrifying tales by The Wicked Witch of the West.
5/5

Scare Zones

Vamp 85; New Years Eve: This scare zone was a sequel to Vamp 55 in 2016, set in 1895 New Years Eve party where the scare-actors range from party goers, to vampires in punk attire and pop stars.

Twisted Traditions: This scare zone had a classic Halloween feel to it, with trick r treaters to pumpkin headed entities.

Revenge of Chucky: The Revenge of Chucky scare zone was suppose to be Universal's backlash on Disney's new Toy Story Land. It was filled with toys that were twisted by Chucky's will from stuffed teddy bears, dolls and army soldiers. There were even some small stages that included a puppeteer of Chucky heckling the guests.

Killer Clowns form Outer Space: This scare zone was fun and colorful at the same time, but if you have a fear of clowns you can skip this zone.

The Harvest: The Harvest is very smilar to Alters of Horror in 2017, but with set pieces of may the different IP houses and original scare actors roaming the streets.
